Metaltown 12

On Thursday morning I got up around 6 am to shower and finish packing before heading off to the train. It was sunny and warm already in the morning. 3 hours later I arrive in Gothenburg and it's so cold, cloudy and windy. After waiting around in the waiting hall for about 20-25 minutes the train from Stockholm arrived with Toni and his friends. We got going to Shock to change our tickets for wristbands and then went to have lunch. After lunch we stocked up on cider and beer before finally going to the place where the bus would pick us up and take us to the camping area. Already at the bus stop some of the guys put up their camping chairs and cracked open a can of beer and Toni got his block rocker playing. Arriving at the camping site we put our tents up and after a while even the marquee. But it was freezing cold that evening. I was sitting with sweater, jacket, fingerless gloves and blanket and was still freezing. As time went by more and more campers showed up and the party grew bigger. Around 1 am I was so very tired and Toni and I decided to go to sleep.

On Friday the festival really started and after getting water, having brunch and going up to the festival area to buy some merch the party started for real. Loud music, singing along, cheering, drinking and crazyness. We hung around there until it was time to head back up to the festival area and watch Jason Rouse around 6 pm. After that we had a look at Avatar. Before going to the stage where Within Temptation were going to play we had dinner. After WT we saw Lamb of God and then Marilyn Manson. It was crowded in front of the stage when Manson played. I was pretty much pressed against a guy who was half a head taller than me. Towards the end of the Manson concert it started raining, first just a bit and then quite heavily. Since we could see pretty much nothing cause the huge guys in front of us obscured our view of both the stage and then screen we decided to go back to the camping at that time and thus saw nothing of In Flames. I like In Flames but I haven't really listened to them since Come Clarity and I haven't been very interested since then. No big loss not having seen them really.

Saturday was just crazy. Party crazy. For brunch we had BBQ with some awesome brochettes. One of them had kangaroo, crocodile and springbok on it xD After breakfast we went back to the camping and stayed there pretty much the whole day. There was no band playing on Saturday that neither I nor Toni was very interested in seeing. Although we got to see some of Mastodon when having nachos for dinner. The rest of the day was just party some of it cramped together under the marquee while wearing rain ponchos to get away from the rain, but still very cheerful.

Sunday we had to get up early since the camping closed at noon. We packed our stuff and got to drinking the last of the beer and cider and having some final party time before departing. Well back at the central station in Gothenburg we had brunch at NFC (some knock-off of KFC). That's where I met up with Zabini (from the Swedish Harry Potter community) and later also HIM (from the same site where I first met Toni). Around 4.30pm we all got on our respective trains and headed back home.

I love...

And that turned into a rant...

I consider it to be awfully hot already and there's still way more to go... I'm in preparation for Metaltown :) Today I went all over town buying things that will be necessary or that I simply just needed. What's left doing tonight is creating some kind of party music list for the nights at the camping and possibly start with the packing, but I doubt I'll do that in any serious fashion. My serious packing will probably start tomorrow evening and then I need to get on an early train on Thursday.

Something else I have done today that I can't help but feeling immensly proud over is that I've repaired my pants, which means I've been sewing. For the first time in, what, 5 years? Nothing complicated just making a new seem where the old one had split and made a hole, but I'm still proud. So I've done some needlework, by hand. Sewing machines and I are old enemies. 

I'm having this great urge to play The Sims 2 again. I want to get going with my families again. I want to continue with my Teague family and I want to really get things going with my Takahashi family. Do you remember my Teague family? This is what the family tree looks like as of now and I haven't really been playing for months. 

Just a few days ago I got this urge to build more houses and get a move-on with my sims. I don't have pictures of all the houses I've built, but I have pictures of these five:

When I build houses I don't really think about what I'm doing... I just add the base and then some random walls and out of that there may be towers, balconys, porches, saunas, green houses, gardens and garages. My personal favourite is the house with many towers. My vampire sim (Ai) lives there with her daughter :) In the first house, which was my first ever house for the Teague family, lives a werewolf couple (Evelyn & Aiden) and in the house next to that (the one that looks like a two-storey cottage) lives a sim-robot couple (Fenrir & Byron) with their soon-to-be-born Alien baby. The bottom image is what the neighbourhood currently looks like.

Alright, fine, I just felt like I had to make a rant about it.

So now I'll try to go and make that playlist...

Nerdiness of May

Harry Potter. Skyrim. ANTM. Mad Men. Writing. Alice Cooper. Tim Burton. The Avengers.

Harry Potter. I don't know how it happened. But suddenly I started hanging out a lot at FanFiction.net reading Dramione and Drarry, there has been one Ginny/Neville too and a really weird one involving Snape/Draco... Can't say that I want to stop reading them with a straight face. The most fun ones to read are the ones rated Mature. Yes, I'm dirty, it's not like I'm trying to hide it. Okay, I was lying. I know how it happened. I got into my head that I should just check out the FanFiction section of the forum at that Swedish community... I read some and then it got advanced... This is nothing new. I used to read fanfics all the time at hogwarts.nu. Either I was simply younger at the time or they were better writers at hoggy... I got bored with the fanfics at the forum and decided to go pro :P

Skyrim. I haven't really played that much, but I decided to go somewhere else for a while and try to get past that troll later. So I've been clearing out some bandit nests ever since. Now it seems like I'm in over my head again as I stumbled upon a camp of mage apprentices. You can't use my own weapon against me?! So not fair! *pout* ;) But I had a lot of fun when I was working on defeating that Necromancer as a way of helping a guy...  I failed the optional directive of protecting the guy so he died in the process... But I did defeat the Necromancer and got to kick some dead guys' asses too :P

ANTM. Saw the finals today. You remember me saying that my favourites were Azmarie and Sophie? Well, Azmarie was kicked out pretty early because of her "too cool for school"-attitude and then I could focus solely on Sophie who just kept winning me over every time. I was so happy for her success when she became the face of "Rude is Nude" and when she booked all her go-sees. But I was seriously doubting that she would win since she's a Brit. But the ANTM judges proved me wrong and she won! Sophie won! Yay! :D

Mad Men. Sad to say but Mad Men is getting boring. Last season was awesome and now it's just blah. What happened?! I keep watching the show just for the sake of it, but honestly... I guess the fact that Peggy quit is the only really big thing that will happen in this season?

Writing. Yes, I did start looking at my writing again. I have whole scenarios in my head for my main story I just need to get them into print and I also need to get to those scenarios story-wise. It's going very slowly...

Alice Cooper. I am not kidding when I say that I really really wanted one of these and that I was so very happy when my boyfriend actually bought me one. I also finally came around to buying five of my favourite Alice Cooper albums: Constrictor, Brutal Planet, Dragontown, Dirty Diamonds and Welcome 2 My Nightmare. I already had Trash, Hey Stoopid and Along Came a Spider before and now this lands my grand total of Alice Cooper albums on 8 :) I'm getting there ;)

Tim Burton. Toni showed me a movie by Tim Burton that I hadn't even heard of before. It was called 9 and it was super-cute, kind of steampunky and really good. My favourite characters being 7 (ofc) and then 3 and 4 :P Then ofc we went to the premiere of Dark Shadows. It wasn't awesome, it clearly wasn't one of the best movies he's done, but it wasn't bad and complete crap either. All on all I liked it and the ending promises a sequel :D And pointing back at my recent Alice Cooper hype... I had no idea Alice Cooper was going to be in Dark Shadows. When the ingress was rolling and it ended with "with Alice Cooper" I just couldn't believe what I was seeing. "Did you know about this?" "No! *huge smile*"

The Avengers. We went to see The Avengers on the premiere as well. I haven't laughed so hard at the cinema in ages. It was so hilarious. The crowd was so geeky and we applauded and laughed so many times. I could see it again at the cinema. So worth it. Also some of the scenes were hilarious like this one. And I still can't stop laughing to "Puny god". "Your brother just killed 80 people in 4 days." "*shrug* He's adopted."

Notice the fact that Diablo 3 isn't on this list. Why? Cause I just can't bother with linear MMO-RPGs that I'll suck at anyway.

Nerdiness of April

Harry Potter. Skyrim. The Sims 2. ScaryGirl. Plants vs Zombies. Rayman. Game of Thrones. Mad Men. ANTM. No Ordinary Family. Nightwish. Music.

Harry Potter. It will be a bigger thing when that name won't appear on my list of nerdiness... Although this month there hasn't been a lot. Sure I've been hanging out at that Swedish community as per usual. I've looped this video a few times. I showed this video to Toni and he can't seem to get it out of his head (hilarious). Oh and yes Pottermore opened for everyone. I got Love into making an account just to see which House he would get sorted into and he turned out a Slytherin. Well, he could fit into any House. Then Kajsa decided to make a new account because she was so displeased with ending up in Slytherin (she really doesn't fit in there) and redo the Sorting Hat test. She ended up in Hufflepuff exactly as she wanted to and was really happy about it xD I'm satisfied with being in Slytherin. Because of all the hype around Pottermore opening I ended up making a few potions again.

Skyrim. So I finally got my stuff together and tried out the game. I really like it :D Although now I'm stuck, which is somewhat good timing cause I need to write that dissertation anyway. But I'll probably have to do a few sidemissions before going back to the main one cause I can't seem to get past that troll that blows me to pieces in two hits.

The Sims 2. I've gotten a little tired of it. But I still play at times. My Japanese family recently had twins. Other than that I have nothing new to report.

ScaryGirl. I've played through the demo twice now and I really like the game. I'm actually considering to buy it, but I'm not sure. Why? Cause I find the demo somewhat difficult (I suck) and I think the full game would really be something I would just rage quit on. Somewhat like Alice Madness Returns...

Plants vs Zombies. Playing through the game on my DS. It's a little different feeling from being used to playing it on the PS3. However I still like the game, but I feel a little rusty. Gotta get more practice! Didn't have enough time last time, my DS died on me...

Rayman. I've completed about 20% of the game on my DS which is the furthest I've ever come. But I'm doubting that I'll get much further. As mentioned before I'm kind of sucky at games although I love playing.

Game of Thrones. This series is so goddamn awesome! Tyrion and Daenerys are my favourites. Can't wait til next episode. It bothers me a bit that each season is only 10 episodes long, but at least that's better than BBC's Sherlock which is only 3 episodes per season.

Mad Men. The new season doesn't have me starstruck like the other ones did. I hate Megan. I want to see more Sally. I watch with glee and malice how Betty struggles. And just the sight of Sterling bothers me. And is it only me or does Don seem a little boring in this season? And it needs more Joan!

ANTM. This season is getting interesting. Could it be that America's Next Top Model is a Brit? That would be so awesome. I was very disappointed when Azmarie was sent home but Sophie keeps getting more and more awesome. And I think I'm getting attached to Alisha as well.

No Ordinary Family. Finished the first and only season. A second season of this series would've been so awesome. The series really improved in the second half of the season and it could've gotten really great if it was only allowed to conitnue. Americans just don't know what good TV is, if they did all the good series wouldn't be discontinued. Yes, I'm looking at you Heroes and Firefly.

Nightwish. The concert three weeks ago was just amazing. I was really tired when writing the review and it turned out really crappy. But honestly, the Nightwish one felt so much more amazing than the Within Temptation one. I keep hoping that Nightwish will be one of the final names to be revealed for Metaltown. I want them there so bad.

Music. There has been so much music lately. I'm completely stuck at a bunch of groups now. My post The past hour shows this pretty well. Stone Sour, KoRn, Staind, Sixx:A.M., Alice Cooper, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, The Pretty Reckless, Avenged Sevenfold, Skid Row, Mr. Big, Mötley Crüe, Guns n' Roses, KISS, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Lordi... The list keeps on going and I just want more and more and more...

Nightwish

Yesterday (well I guess it's two days ago now) it was time for the long-awaited concert with Nightwish. Can't believe it's been almost 5 years since I last saw them live. This time was better, though. Think the band and Anette have gotten a bit more accoustumed to eachother by now.

Anyway, we got there and bought our t-shirts as per tradition :P Then we got into the concerthall. They had two supporting acts. The first one, Eklipse, was kind of cool. Four very pretty girls with classical instruments playing a bunch of songs that I recognised but annoyingly enough couldn't place :/

The second band, Battle Beast, was a huge disappointment. The music was average and some of the intros were pretty good. But the singer... Oh boy the singer... All she did was nasal vibratos. Everything was nasal vibratos. And some screaming. But mostly nasal vibratos. And she spent too much time trying to get the crowd going rather than doing something great on stage that would get the crowd going anyway.

Then Nightwish came on and it was great. It was a great mix of both old and new songs. Most of the songs came from the new album, but that's what a tour is for right? If I remember correctly these were the songs played, albumwise:

My favourite moment was during The Islander. Before starting to play it Marco asked us to take out stuff with lights. Like lighters or phones. And hold them up into the air. Then they started playing and the entire crowd sang along. With all the lights up. It was awesome. 

The entire concert was as wonderful as concerts usually are. Sweaty and aching we left it. My ears ringing and my throat parched. A coke after a concert must be the best thing in the world. 

Nerdiness of March

Harry Potter. Yes. The meet-up and party I went to stands for most of this month's Harry Potter nerdiness :P But I have also watched this video about 4 times. Oh and I shared this picture on Facebook! Thought it was hilarious:

Medieval II Total War. I met the winning conditions as France but continued playing until all the turns were up. Pretty much all of the European map was light blue by then (light blue = my colour). I had annihilated England, Scotland, Spain, Portugal, Milan, Venice, Sicily, Denmark, Holy Roman Empire, Poland and Egypt. The Turks, Byzantine Empire and Hungary had one region each left when I ran out of turns. This was fun :) Will probably be a while until I play it again though. This song, however, always manages to inspire me into playing this game. 

The Sims 2. While I was playing Total War I didn't have much time playing The Sims. However since my last report on my family, I've gotten started on the fourth generation for real, most of the sims in the third generation have gotten married and all the sims in the second generation have grown old. Since last time I have gotten one vampire and two werewolves. One of my sims is married to a robot he made and they're expecting an Alien baby since the sim was taken away by Aliens. 

David Eddings. Haven't really had the time to read lately. But I finished The Treasured One and as soon as I'm done with my exams I will get started on The Crystal Gorge. What I didn't like about The Treasured One was that it was pretty much just a transportation. It was everything that happened in the first book from different point of views and ofc some things happened in this book too, but nothing very important. 

Star Trek. Haven't watched in a while now, but last time I watched it was the episode with Spock's mutiny. It's a double episode and I got tired of it about halfway through the first episode. It was pretty much the pilot with Captain Pike incorporated into the series. And because I had seen the pilot I figured out Spock's goal with his mutiny after about halfway through, and then it just wasn't interesting anymore... Will continue watching though.

Mad Men. 5th season started two weeks ago and I wasn't sure about the season premiere. It was nothing spectacular. Actually I was kind of disappointed. Last episode was better. I love how Betty is unhappy. Wonder when she'll realise she brought this upon herself... Also I'm not a fan of Megan and... WTH is up with Roger? He's acting more and more like a child thirsting for approval and appreciation.

ANTM. Also called America's Next Top Model. I have a weird fascination for the show and I have had it for years. Since I was 15 I think... I loved the last cycle: cycle 17 All-Stars where they brought back old contestants. Allison Harvard I love you. This cycle is also proving to be interesting. Cycle 18 British Invasion. Basically it's 6 newbie American girls and 6 British girls that have previously competed in BNTM. My favourites this cycle are Azmarie and Sophie. One American and one Brit. They're both incredible. 

No Ordinary Family. When I first saw the trailer for this series I wanted to see it. But then it didn't happen. Quite recently I was recommended this show by a friend so I started watching it. But it feels a little bit too Fantastic Four. I didn't like that movie. This series has its moments, but it's not that great. I miss Heroes T_T

Suugaku Joshi Gakuen. It's a dorama series starring many of the girls from Hello! Project :) The storyline isn't great. The acting isn't fantastic. I guess I'm watching it pretty much just because of the girls. But the school in the series is pretty interesting. Because it's use of math. Every disagreement is solved with math. I hate math, can't stand it, and as soon as they talk math I have no idea what they're talking about xD But on some level I find this show interesting. 

One Piece. The manga is great at the moment :D But looking through some old posters I found a One Piece one that came with a magazine I bought in Japan. Since I found it all I need now is a frame and it will end up on my wall. One Piece ftw!

Rayman. I have the old original game for both PC and for GBA. The PC-game won't work on my computer cause the computer is too new :( But I've been playing the GBA a bit again on my DS :D Love the game. Can't understand why they had to change it so much just cause computers got better :(

A really really short novella

I'm having such trouble finding things to blog about. It may be because my mind is otherwise occupied. Occupied with my essay mostly. But I feel like I should give you something to read. So here's a really short novella I wrote on the bus trip to France in 2008. Originally in Swedish, but easily translated.

In a dark room, around the midnight hour, a young woman was asleep - uneasily. She turned suddenly several times and cold sweat broke out on her forehead. She whimpered and breathed heavily. In the mists of her dreams she was running around in a long corridor covered with mirrors from floor to ceiling. She felt chased and turned hastily off from her road several times, but after almost every turn there was a dead end covered with mirrors. Everywhere her terrified expression was reflected and all possible angles of her body. Many times when she tried to turn she hit a wall of mirrors.

But then the dream changed and in every dead end covered with mirrors was a man - well-built but with something grotesque. His face was covered in a sleek, white mask with holes only for the eyes and mouth. His rattling breaths echoed across the neverending corridor and he seemed to having harder to breathe the more she ran.

In a surge of sudden bravery she reached out to take off the mask. Quick as a flash he grabbed her arm and forced it backwards. The pain paralysed her and her newfound courage disappeared as fast as it came. Speechless by fear she stared at his expressionless face that was reflected from all around by the surrounding mirrors. The reflections enhanced the image of horror even more and she turned around and continued to run with the man's rattling breaths pounding in her head - but only in her head. Around her words echoed "When you see my face you'll die..." Gasping she closed her eyes and continued running. Suddenly she hit something. But her eyes closed she felt her way and heard something fall to the floor. She opened her eyes and looked up. The man looked down at her. It was the mask that had fallen to the floor. The eyes looking down at her were drenched with blood, two trickles of blood was running from them. The face was sticky with dried blood and when he smiled blood started flowing from the corners of his mouth. The woman screamed from the top of her lungs and in a bed far from there, she took her last breath.

I couldn't think of what to write at the moment so I asked my teacher. He said something with mirrors and masks. This is what I came up with. It took me about 15 minutes to write. What do you think? I'm not entirely satisfied, but this was more unconscious than conscious writing...

Medieval II Total War. I've been playing it every day for the last five days. I restarted as France and it's going really well. I manipulate everything with diplomats and assassins with high skills, and I see everything using spies.

The Sims 2. Well, since I started playing Medieval I haven't really played any The Sims. But! I created a new family, a Japanese one, in a new neighbourhood, but decided that it was too boring to restart completely in a new neighbourhood and had them move to the other neighbourhood where I have my Teague family. They get along very well and I'm planning on making my new Japanese family into an equally large family as the Teagues.

George Carlin. It's not that long ago since I first showed his comedy to a friend. And this time I showed him Losing Things. Then we watched the very old performance of Words we Use, and re-watching his reality check. Then some video from 2005 about being old. This man was a genius!

Call of Cthulhu. Two RPG meetings. The last one ending with the whole group minus one dying. Great ending to a great night :D My favourite RPG this far.

Magic: The Gathering. I'm not overly interested in this yet, but I'm considering learning it properly. Since I'm discovering that more and more people around me actually play this and I understand nothing when they talk about it... Gotta fix that!

Harry Potter. Well, you didn't actually think that there would be a month when I wasn't obsessed with Potter? My Valentine's is proof of that ;) And these two images that I shared on Facebook:

Mad Men. I can't see a package of Lucky Strike without immediately relating it to this series. Is that obsessed enough? And I've been blogging about it a few times. Finished the fourth season last week and can't wait for the 5th season to come around!

Star Trek. After Mad Men it was time for Star Trek: The Original Series. It's from 1966 and it's not that great. Anymore. That anymore is very important! Cause to me of today's generation it's slow and boring and the special effects are hilariously bad. The plot of each episode is always interesting, but the realisation of it is sooooooo slow -.-' I'll continue watching it though. If I'm gonna complain about something I wanna know what it is I'm complaining about, and beat the fans at their own game ;) A possible setback from this experience may be that instead of disliking it I come to like it. But meh, then I'll just be even more geeky. Wouldn't be that bad.

Puss in Boots. Went to see this movie at the cinema in 3D and it was great! I'm a big fan of the first three Shrek movies and this was nearly just as awesome! I love the addition of Humpty Dumpty and Jack & Jill. The Magic Beans that grew up to the giant's castle in the sky. All of the Shrek movies and this one is like a fast forward through every fairtale there is! :D

How to Train Your Dragon. Watched it for the first time after a friend recommended it about a hundred times. It was great. All there is to say. Simply amazing.

Japanese. Went through first grade kanji yesterday and I'm planning on doing more rehearsing of kanji. This webpage is very useful! I should add that I study kanji because it's fun...

Writing.There hasn't been a lot of it this month, but meeting up with Kajsa always sparks my imagination and wish to write and that's obviously what happened after the book sale :) So I have been writing some and I know what will happen further on in the story. I'm still planning a lot even if it doesn't get down on paper.

Les Misérables. Partly studying. Partly nerdiness. I'm going to write my exam paper this term and what I chose for subject is; Les Misérables. I'm reading the 2000 pages novel right now - in French of course and I like it a lot! I feel like I met the characters briefly in the musical and now I get to know them better :)

Pirates of the Caribbean. When do we not quote any of these movies? I had a really boring day two days ago and went on a YouTube trip watching clips with Captain Jack. Tonight we'll watch one of the movies while having dinner :D 1 or 3, which one should we watch?

Neil Gaiman. I haven't started reading the book I bought at the book sale yet. But the fact that I bought it is enough. I'm still stuck in Good Omens (in my head) and I keep going back to Smoke & Mirrors and Fragile Things reading a short story there and another one there. Simply because he's that good.

David Eddings. I started reading The Treasured One, but it was hard to get into. Mostly because I was still stuck in Good Omens in my head and kept comparing them (not a good idea), but now I'm more into the new book and the humour typical for Eddings has shown up again. Call of Cthulhu RPG #5 - ending

The house is in a very bad state and looks to have been empty for a very long time. We're being hit in the face by the garden. Trips, falls, swears, and have to walk in a line alongside the wall of the house. Charlie opens the first door and enters. The rest of us follows. We're in a dark corridor and use a lighter to see. One door on each side. The first door leads to a bedroom. Sophie finds a hand mirror with gold edges that slides into her bag. We make a torch. Walks into the next room. The floor is made of dark stone. The walls are made from wood with things carved into them. An altar. The carvings are of monstrous misshaped people and creatures. Very professionally done. The altar is covered by very old dried blood. We continue to follow the corridor and arrive at a three-way crossroad. There's a door to the right. Ordinary bedroom. Make another torch. Follow the first corridor. Another bedroom. Charlie finds a misshapen children's skull. Packington establishes that it's a real skull. An extreme underbite and polished teeth. Fangs. The child would've only been a couple of years old when it died. Sophie puts the skull in her bag and gains suspicion from Packington. The next room is a broken toilet. The next is a study. The walls are covered by shelves. On the desk there's an old paper with text written in old English. Y'Gollonac. Image. Sophie connects "image" to the carvings in the altar room. We look for references in the shelves. Find nothing. Amanda leaves to open the entrance doors wide and puts them open to let the daylight inside. Garden furniture on the deck. She calls for us. In the corridor to the right in the hallway there're traces of the explosion. Furthest down the house has fallen in. We start checking out whole rooms. Mostly bedrooms. We find a few more children's skulls and establish that they don't have baby teeth. Meaning they aren't that young. We go back and check the bed with all the rats. Find nothing. Take the corridor north. There are several locks on the door. The room has three cells with leg-irons in them. A number of skeletons in different sizes. Seems to be normal humans. All of them are fretted at. The next is a nicer bedroom. Desk. There's a gust of wind when Packington walks towards the desk. The torch goes out. The room is completely quiet when we walk inside, but as soon as we notice it it goes normal. On the desk there's a paper. Recently written. But in an oldfashioned language. The text describes in more detail how to worship Y'Gollonac with sacrifices etc. Feeling of discomfort. Cowell walks to the study and starts to read. Charlie, Amanda and Sophie go to the next room. Packington tags along. The next room is a nursery. A normal baby skeleton in the crib. Next we arrive to the kitchen. There are steps down into a cellar. All the food except the cans are torn to pieces/chewed at. We go into the cellar. There's a furnace and a large crate of coal. There are dynamites taped to the wall. Packington finds a trap door. It looks like it's dug from the underwork. Puts up the hatch. Packington grabs two dynamites. When everyone have entered the hatch falls down with a great bang. Packington panics and starts to crawl along the walls to find a way out. The passage is darker than it ought to be considering the torch. It's so narrow we have to walk in a line and some of us have to crouch. Somewhat claustrophobic. We can hear water and sounds behind us. Seems like someone is walking beneath us/above us. The sounds are very strange. The passage opens up into a cave. Amanda says that she saw a small creature run on the other side. We think it's one of the strange creatures. We follow it. We see Charlie jump and look around himself. We continue walking. Very close to each other. Very quiet except the sound of something slithering in front of us and the sound of water dripping. We arrive at another cave. Something's scraping. Continue onwards. Find a somewhat larger cave. Dynamite on the ground. A small creature jumps up on Packington who shoots. The creature runs off. Amanda shoots after it. We follow it. The new passage is long. Very creepy. Arrive in a cave that's more like a room. More dynamite. 10 creatures ahead of us. We hear a shot. A person with a cut off shotgun. He introduces himself as Philip Baucher. We mention Y'Gollonac and he starts to transform. Amanda shoots and nothing happens. Packington lights a dynamite and throws it. We run for it. But the entire cave, the passage and the house collapse. The entire group is suffocated to death. Cowell survives as he's out by the car at the explosion.
